Dennis Powers is a Commercial Insurance Specialist at Inszone Insurance Services, joining Inszone in December 2021 after the merger with Lamb, Little & Co. Dennis began his career as a private investigator over 29 years ago, specializing in investigating fraudulent insurance claims against employers. He then (prior to becoming an insurance agent) spent over 10 years working as a multi-line claims adjuster with a primary focus on workers compensation claims.
Dennis is a graduate of Western Illinois with a degree in Criminal Justice. In addition, he has attained his Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Claims (AIC), is a Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
Dennis is currently working with small to middle market businesses and has specialized in the design, marketing, and implementation of a client-oriented insurance program. He also provides an expertise in applying the appropriate resources to help his clients contain cost by managing their exposure to risk. His clients include manufacturers, social service agencies, residential cleaners, contractors, and other companies.
He lives with his wife, Jill, in Mount Prospect, IL and they have one child, AJ, who is a student at Ole Miss. In his off time, Dennis enjoys golfing, going to concerts and is a movie fan, specifically the scary ones.
